The Kansas City Chiefs sign third-round draft picks Jamaal Charles and Brad Cottam to three-year deals.

Running back Charles rushed 538 times for 3,328 and 36 touchdowns in three seasons at Texas. He will compete for the backup running back job behind starter Larry Johnson.
Tight end Cottam started in 38 games at Tennessee.

They include first-round picks LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey and Virginia tackle Branden Albert, and second-round selection cornerback Brandon Flowers of Virginia Tech.
