KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have signed four free agents with minimal NFL playing experience to two-year contracts.
They are fullback Steven Jackson, wide receiver Kevin McMahan, offensive tackle Ken Shackleford and linebacker E.J. Kuale. Only one of the four has suited up for regular season duty. Jackson was active for two games with the Carolina Panthers in 2006.
The three offense signings come at positions where the Chiefs lack depth and experience.
McMahan, a former seventh-round pick of the Oakland Raiders, spent a portion of the 2007 season on Kansas City’s practice squad.
