DODGE CITY —

When the host Minneola High School Wildcats and the Greensburg Rangers meet up tonight, they'll both be playing power football.
It'll just depend on who is more powerful in a first-round, Eight-Man Division-I playoff game. Kickoff is set for 7.
"It's going to be power team against power team," Minneola coach Aaron Schilde said. "It is going to come down to who has the strongest kid."
Both coaches are pleased with making it this far in the season.
"I think it was a pretty successful season," Greensburg coach Clint Young said. "The boys played well, and we are just going to enjoy being in the playoffs."
The Rangers( 5-4) are trying not to focus on the fact that the Wildcats are undefeated.
"I thought we did well (against Ingalls)," Schilde said. "Our execution was much better and it looked like we were ready to play a playoff game. I'm happy with our overall dominance."
Schilde will look to Jason McClaren on offense. The quarterback averages 139.9 rushing yards per game.
"He runs everything for us," Schilde said. "We'll need to make sure we have protection for his passing."
McClaren is also the  focus of Greensburg's plan.
"We're going to have to be solid on defense," Young said. "They have to play well to be able to contain McClaren. As far as offense, it's important that we just run the ball."
Schilde said that they are prepared to stop Greensburg's running game. The Rangers’ Nathan Charlton averages 218.2 rushing yards per game.
The Wildcats will also have to have a strong defense to hold Charlton.
The Wildcats are happy for the opportunity to play at home.
"The kids wanted to be undefeated at home this season," Schilde said, "and to be able to play at least one more game at home will be an advantage for us."
