Freshman setter Rae Mulitalo paced the team with 21 assists. Libero Janelle Burnett had 15 digs, while Maggie Hans had 14. Megan Beiriger had 10 assist and 10 digs for a double-double.
In their second game, the Lady Conqs needed five sets to defeat Eastern Wyoming College, 24-26, 25-16, 25-18, 19-25, 16-14.
DCCC trailed by three points at match point, but rallied to win.
Freshman defensive specialist Celia Martin scored the match's final two points on service aces.
Filiaga added 19 kills and Beiriger recorded the team's first triple-double of the season with 10 kills, 13 assists and 14 digs. Burnett added 31 digs.
The Lady Conqs lost in four sets to the host team, Laramie County, despite having just six missed serves and six hitting errors.
DCCC rebounded from the loss to defeat the Hastings College (Nebraksa) junior varsity team in four sets, 25-22, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-16.
