DCHS qualifies one for state tennis

The Dodge City High School tennis team competed this past weekend in their regional tournament as the squad looked to send members to the state competition in Wichita.
     Ashton Moore qualified by finishing fifth in singles with a 3-1 record. Moore will make the trip to Wichita for Friday and Saturday's state tournament, slated to be held at Riverside tennis courts.
     Other Demons competing in the regionals include Kelly Brauer, who went 1-2 in singles play, the team of Amanda Hatfield and Morgan Schaller, who managed a 1-2 doubles record and the team of Latara Hardy and Cadence Keeten who lost in their only doubles match of the day.
