‘Friday the 13th Shootout’ coming to Jetmore Motorplex

    The Jetmore Motorplex will comes to life Friday with the "Friday the 13th Shootout," sponsored by Rebein Bangerter P.A. Three action-packed classes will highlight the evening's card of racing, guaranteed to keep you on your feet. URSS Sprint Cars, the BST Modifieds and the stock cars will return to the high banks of the Motorplex.
    The United Rebel Sprint Series will take to the track with all the action you've come to expect with all your local favorites like Brian Herbert, Nick King, Darren Bowman and Ray Seemann, along with up-and-coming young hot-shoes Taylor Velasquez and Taylor Milton. Both have scored victories recently and are making their talents known in the southern region.
    The BST Modified Series returns to the Motorplex for its final appearance of 2008, with two-rime NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie making his racing debut at the Motorplex. LaJoie will be joined by area standouts like four-time IMCA national champion David Murray Jr., Mike Lunow, David Rucker, Casey Jo Wanger, George Tyler, Mike Petersillie and a host of others. Don't miss this chance to see the region's best vie for the win.
    Joining the card will be the wild and crazy Stocks Cars and the newest class in the area, the always-entertaining junior sprints. Come watch the future stars of dirt track racing as they tackle the little track at the Motorplex.
    Racing action starts at 7:30 p.m., so bring the entire family out for an evening's entertainment.
