All-league recognition for area players

    The Southern Plains-Iroquois All-League honors have been released.
    For the Southern Plains division, 14 from Ashland get recognition after making it to the first round of playoffs. The Bluejays went 9-1 this season, losing only to South Barber.
    Pawnee Heights finished 6-3 this season and have 12 on the SPAA list.
    Greensburg went 5-2 overall. Seven Rangers earned recognition this season.
    The Fowler Goldbugs have eight on the SPAA All-League list. They finished 3-6 for the 2009 season.
    Haviland finished 7-3 this season, and have eleven earning All-League honors this year.
    The Bucklin Red Aces, who went 0-9 this season, have seven on the SPAA All-League list.
    The Iroquois division also had several honored.
    The Meade Buffaloes, who went 11-1 this season, have 14 on the All-League list. The Buffaloes lost only to Smith Center in the Class 2-1A playoffs.
    Jetmore finished 4-5 this season. The Longhorns have seven who earned honors.
    Minneola, 9-1, also made it to the playoffs this season, but lost their only game in the first round. The Wildcats have 13 on the All-League list.
    The Spearville Lancers finished 3-6 this season and have 10 on the list.
    South Central, who also finished 3-6 this season have 11 who made the list.
    The South Gray Rebels went 6-3 overall. The Rebels have twelve on the All-League list.
