The Dodge City Community College women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Northern Oklahoma on Sunday, dropping its season record to 0-5.
Northern Oklahoma's Jamie Warman scored goals in the 41st and 89th minutes in the victory.
The other score came off a corner kick by Northern Oklahoma's Kara Kidd that was inadvertently headed into the Lady Conquistadors' net by DCCC defender Irma Lares in the game's 16th minute.
"I feel like every goal except the first one was preventable," DCCC head coach Becca Crawford said.
Crawford, however, said the Lady Conqs were getting better.
"I know we are improving," she said. "We need to focus on finishing."
DCCC often plays a strong second half, but its never been enough to offset mistakes made in the first half, Crawford said.
"That's kind of just the way it's been," she said. "The changes we make in the second half are never enough to compensate."
The Lady Conqs have been shut out in four of their five games this season.
Over that span, they have been outscored 22-1.
Crawford said she felt her team actually played better in a 7-0 loss against Hutchinson last Thursday than it did on Sunday.
"I guess we thought the game was over," she said in reference to DCCC allowing Northern Oklahoma's final goal.
