Demons finish WAC season tied for first

    The Dodge City High School Red Demons varsity soccer team finishes the Western Athletic Conference season lodged in a first-place tie with Liberal.
    DCHS beat the Liberal Redskins 2-1 on Thursday night. Both finished the WAC season 7-1.
    Victor Millan scored the first goal off of a cross from J.D. Bouyer. Later in the game, Bouyer scored the second goal with an assist from Victor Rojas.
    The Demons are now 13-3 overall.
    In the junior varsity game, the Demons also won 2-1.
    Carlos Luna scored the first goal with an assist from Mauro Hipolito. Hipolito went on to score the second goal of the game.
    The JV finishes their season at 9-2-4.
    The Demons host a Class 6A regional on Tuesday at Memorial Stadium. Their opponent is yet to be determined.
