Ingalls 53, Pawnee Heights 16
The Ingalls Bulldogs took advantage of a short Pawnee Heights bench on Friday afternoon, as they used an impressive performance from Nathan Hale to cruise past Heights 53-16 in the consolation bracket of the Southern Plains-Iroquois League Tournament.
With the victory, the Bulldogs pick up their first win of their year, as both teams faced each other after losing their opening round play-in games.
Ingalls jumped out to an early lead thanks to some big baskets from Hale, and never looked back, as they will move on in conference play after going 1-1 during the tournament.

Fowler 63, Spearville 29
It was clear from the beginning that the Fowler Goldbugs were talented on offense, but big games from Joel Milford and Ty Clark put away the Spearville Lancers early, as the Goldbugs move on to play Minneola this afternoon with a 63-29 victory over the Lancers.
Milford was feeling it from beyond the arc, as the 6-foot-2 junior was lighting up the scoreboard as the Goldbugs jumped out to a commanding first quarter lead. Also contributing for Fowler, who currently sits at 8-3, we Clark, Taylin Bird and big man Jett Reese, who was able to dominate the interior of the Spearville defense all afternoon.
The Goldbugs advance to play Minneola, who won their opening round play-in game versus Pawnee Heights. The Wildcats and Fowler will meet this afternoon at 1 p.m. in a consolation bracket showdown.

Hodgeman County 52, Bucklin 36 (5-4 1Q, 17-9 HT, 33-18 3Q)
It was all Longhorns early on, as Hodgeman County jumped all over the Bucklin Red Aces, cruising for a 52-36 win Friday night at the United Wireless Arena. After only being up by one in the first quarter, the Longhorns poured it on in the second, outscoring the Aces 12-5, opening up a cushion that Bucklin could not come back from.
Hodgeman County was led by Austin Pfannenstiel with 16 points and Zach Blurton who finished with 12 points. Anthony Ledesma was the leading Bucklin scorer, as he led both teams with 17 points.
The Longhorns end their 2012 Southern Plains-Iroquois League Tournament with a 2-1 record, with victories over Ingalls and Bucklin. It is the seventh win of the season for Hodgeman, while the Red Aces fall to 4-8 on the year.
