Dodge City A's win big in Wichita

    The Dodge City Athletics (8-6, 3-6 Jayhawk League) defeated the Wichita Titans 21-0 on the road Monday.
    A's starting pitcher Casey McCarthy went four innings, while allowing no hits, no runs and came one walk away from a perfect outing. McCarthy also struck out four in the win.
    Dodge scored 12 runs in the second and had 27 hits on the night. The A's pitching staff gave up a total of three hits Monday and lost the no-hitter in the sixth.
    The A's return home to Cavalier Field today for a Jayhawk game against the Hays Larks. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
