Sgt. Russell Callahan and Mariko Hisano were married Dec. 1, 2008 in Iwakuni, Japan. Mariko is the daughter of Yayoi Hisano and the late Eiji Hisano of Matsuyama Ehime, Japan.
Russell is the son of Schuyler and Shirley Callahan, Minneola and Sherry Lovette, Lewis.
Russell is a 2001 graduate of Minneola High School and a 2003 graduate of Dodge City Community College. He is stationed with the United States Marine Corp. in Iwakuni, Japan.
Mariko graduated from Matsuyama Central High School in 2002 and NHO Zentsuji Hospital Fuzoku Zentsuji Nursing School in 2005.
