Jodi Hoover and Chasen Katz were united in marriage on Oct. 27, 2007, at the Kinsley United Methodist Church. Dr. Dennis Kuder officiated. The reception was held at the VFW.
Parents of the couple are Joe and Diana Hoover, Lewis; and Jim and Venica Katz, Lewis. Grandparents are Kenneth and Maxine Carlin, Bucklin; the late Ernest and Lizzie Hoover, Beaver, Okla.; George and Johanna Eddy, Coulter, Iowa; and Harold and Luetta Katz, Offerle.
Bridal attendants were Mandy Marlow, Hays; Sloan Marriott, Lenexa; Paige Chappell, Offerle; and Brock Hoover, Minneola. Groomsmen were Eric Sparke, Kinsley; Heath Katz, Kinsley; and Colten Katz, Hays.
Sierra Britton, Lewis, served as flower girl, and Luke Marriott, Lenexa, served as ring bearer. The ushers were Brock Hoover and Keith Chappell. The organist was Maxine Carlin.
Jennifer Hoover presided over the guest book, and the program attendants were Brandi Riisoe, Kinsley, and Trista Katz, Belpre.
The couple graduated from Lewis High School in 2003 and Fort Hays State University in 2007. The bride has a business administration degree and the groom has a political science degree with a minor in French.
The couple flew to Orlando, Fla., for their honeymoon and now resides in Lawrence. The bride is an accounting assistant for World Wide Clinical Research, Overland Park, and the groom is attending law school at the University of Kansas.
