Johnson-Grove United in Marriage

    Sharon Ann Johnson and Jerod Michael Grove were united in marriage on October 25, 2008 at Countryside Christian Church in Mission.  Pastor Gary Armour officiated.
    A dinner and dance followed at the Holiday Inn in Overland Park.
Parents of the bride are Wayne and Theresa Johnson of Paxico. Her grandparents are Fern and the late Ragner Johnson and Bernard and Laverne Hurla, all of Paxico.
    Parents of the groom are Rod and Jeri Grove of Dodge City. His grandparents are Betty and the late Kenneth Grove of Syracuse, and Jr. and Nell Lewis of Cimarron.
    Larami Garrison, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Kelly Lambley and Karen Berkenmeier, sisters of the bride, and Christa Thowe, soon to be sister-in-law of the bride. The flower girl was Elena Lambley, niece of the bride.
     The best man was Casey Grove, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Jesse Grove, brother of the groom, Mick McElhinney, and Justin Smith, both friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Kent Berkenmeier, nephew of the bride.
    Eric Champlin and Tanner Oliphant, both friends of the groom, served as ushers.
    The couple currently resides in Kansas City.
