Dodge City —

    Chandra Katherine Frost and Wesley George Pike, both of Manhattan, were married on June 21 at Saint John’s Cathedral in Denver.  Celebrant was The Rev. Canon Elizabeth P. Randall.  Homilist was The Rev. David Gevock, Manhattan.
    Parents of the couple are Richard and Donna Frost of Arvada, Colo., and Losson and Leanne Pike of Ashland. Grandparents of the bride are Don and Joy Bergt of Westminster, Colo., and Juanita Lawson, Gainesville, Ga.  Grandparents of the groom are Wesley and Eulaine Benda, Oberlin, and Gladys Pike, Ashland.
    The bride wore a strapless candlelight tissue taffeta gown with a cathedral train. The gown was detailed with beadwork and lace on the corset, train and front edge. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of mini-calla lilies, hydrangeas and white roses.
    The matron of honor was Kinsey Ringenberg of Denver. The bride’s attendants were Diana Brinks, Orange County, and Sarah Olson, Manhattan, cousin of the groom. They wore black strapless two-piece floor-length taffeta gowns with celadon green sashes.  Flower girls were Siena Bergt, Santa Fe, N.M., niece of the bride, and Gracie Krause, Princeton, Texas, niece of the groom. They wore black sleeveless floor-length dresses with celadon green sashes.
    The best man was Justin Delp of Phoenix.  Groomsmen were Daniel Munden, Hutchinson, and Grant Helmers, Kansas City.  Ring bearers were Mitchell and Marshall Pike, Colorado Springs, Colo., nephews of the groom.
     Lectors were David Pike, Colorado Springs, and Andrew Pike, Yakota AFB, Japan, brothers of the groom.
     Ushers were Josh Lewis, Kansas City; Joel Gillaspie, Logan, Utah; and Gib Park, Norman, Okla.
    Greeters and gift attendants were Katie Judge, Washington, D.C., cousin of the bride, and Megan Prothe, Britni Kelly and Megan Stewart, all of Manhattan.
     Organist was Richard Robertson. Altar Guild assistants were Joyce Butler and Diane Cast.
    Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver.
    The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She teaches first grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Junction City.   
    The bridegroom is also a graduate of Kansas State University with bachelor of science degrees in mathematics and secondary education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. He teaches mathematics at Manhattan High School and coaches basketball and baseball. 
    After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, they are living in Manhattan.
