    The Dodge City Public Library's smallest customers are a busy group. They're people with a world to explore, which means that their days are so packed with new things to figure out that they don't always have time to slow down.
    Also, nap time can really cut into a person's day.
    Still, around 25 of them manage to clear their schedules every Thursday morning for the library's lap-sit story time. In order to make sure they have a lap to sit in, they always bring their moms along.
    Yesterday morning's 10:30 session was packed with almost 20 toddlers and pre-schoolers, but a quieter, smaller crowd showed up for the 11 a.m. story. These four tiny kids and their mothers made up in enthusiasm what they lacked in numbers.
