Marsha L. Yeager, 72, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo. She was born July 28, 1950 at Dodge City, the daughter of Sid and Elna (Idecker) Fail. She was a graduate of Dodge City High School and received her nursing degree from Dodge City Community College. She was a lifetime Dodge City resident and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Trinity Hospital, Good Sams and Western Plains Medical Complex all in Dodge City. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and a volunteer at Manna House both in Dodge City. In 1969 she married Terry “Tub” Gleason.

They later divorced. On September 2, 1997 she married Carl Yeager at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2014. Survivors include: her son Tyrone Gleason and Joyce, Dodge City; her granddaughter, Kaylee Gleason; her mother, Elna Fail, Dodge City; a stepson, Larry Yeager and wife Janell, Dodge City; 2 step-daughters, Lori Maas and husband Vern, Holcomb, Kansas and Karla Denlinger and husband Daniel, Wichita; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father and 2 sisters, Debbie Frank and Donna Livingston.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Stanley Palmer officiating. Cremation will follow the service and private family inurnment will be at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Dodge. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from noon to 8:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
