Despite a difficult loss, Spearville coach Tim Dusin was happy with his team.
“For us to get there and play and compete was a great opportunity,” Dusin said. “Overall I felt we finished on a strong note. I'm very proud and pleased with how they finished out the season.”
Dusin felt the team fared well during the regular the season.
“For us over the season it was been up and down,” Dusin said. “We started off pretty good, then we had a few injuries and lost four games. At the end of season, we won seven out of eight games in a row.”
Spearville finished the season with a 12-10 record.
