Recently, there was a letter in your publication proclaiming the salvaging of the world by all of us becoming vegetarians by eliminating the gaseous output of cattle and its effect on the ozone layer. Tell me what we are going to do with the existing cattle. The activist groups won't let us kill them, and they are going to continue to multiply as they have always done, creating more and more cattle to sully the atmosphere.
There have been various scams trying to discredit beef as food, but people continue to eat it with great gusto. I think a better answer would be for everyone to eat as much beef as possible, thus cutting down the number of live cattle and, in turn, less air pollution.
