Kimberly Ann Rogers and Jason Wayne Sperling, both of Dodge City, were married Nov. 21, 2007, at Grace Community Church in Dodge City.  The 7 p.m. double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Kirk Larson.
     The bride’s parents are Sherry and the late Jim Rogers of Auburn. Her grandparents are Betty and Arthur Rowland of Portales, N.M.
     The groom’s parents are Bob and Marie Sperling of Garden City. His grandparents are Dale and the late Dorene Farmer of Colby, and the late Homer and Fern Sperling.
     Maid of honor was Karen Thomas of Dodge City. Bridesmaids were Hope Tallent of Kansas City, Mo., and Tina Eberhard, the groom’s sister, of Farmington, N.M.
     Best man was Andrew Campfield of Dodge City.  Groomsmen were Ryan Ausmus of Dodge City and Eric Eberhard, the groom’s brother-in-law, of Farmington.
     Serving as ushers were Jason Janzen and Dave Linsenmeyer, both of Dodge City, and Marvin Farmer, the groom’s uncle, of Colby.
     The groom’s niece and nephew, Heather and Josh Eberhard of Farmington, served as flower girl and ring bearer.
     The candle lighters were Jessica Holler and Jan Berry, both of Dodge City.
     The Bells of Grace performers from Grace Community Church, along with other Dodge City instrumentalists including a French horn player, flutist, violinist and cellist, were featured throughout the ceremony. Other musicians included vocalist Peggy Hull of Dodge City, pianist Julie Ochs of Jetmore and accompanist Helen Conrad of Wichita.  Music selections for the congregation, accompanied by all instruments, included Beethoven’s "Joyful, Joyful" and "Be Thou My Vision,” arranged by D. Allen.
     The ceremony was followed at the church by a reception, given by the couples’ parents and the women of Grace Community Church.
     The bride graduated from Topeka’s Cair Paravel-Latin School in 1998, Manhattan Christian College in 2003 and K-State in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in music and elementary education. Kim received her master’s degree in curriculum and ESL at K-State in 2007.  She is employed as a music teacher at USD 371 Montezuma Elementary School.
     The groom graduated from Hays High School in 1992 and Calvary Bible College in 1998 and is currently working toward his master’s degree in family counseling. Jason is employed by United Methodist Youthville at Dodge City as a youth care worker and is currently on full-time active duty with the Army National Guard.
     After a wedding trip over the Thanksgiving weekend to the Hutchinson area, the couple is making their home in Dodge City.
