Dodge City area Church Women United will concentrate on prayers, understanding and forgiveness for those incarcerated, those who feel that society has left them out in communities and churches, at a morning service in Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1008 W. Beeson Road, Dodge City, Friday, Nov. 9, 2008.
    The service which is open to all area women and men, begins at 9 a.m. with a social hour followed by a prayer, hymns and reflection, to enrich and challenge listeners with a theme, "God's Wisdom Sets us Free." By looking at struggles in our own lives and reflecting on them, we are led to minister to others, is the lesson of World Community Day, entitled, "God's Wisdom Sets Us Free."
    Church Women United, established in 1941, is an ecumenical movement that works to develop visible, responsible society, to strengthen families as women of faith and to use the resources of our faith to strengthen social justice worldwide.
