The city of Dodge City is seeking applications from residents of Dodge City to fill expiring/vacant terms on the city-appointed boards and commissions.  The boards and commissions serve to make Dodge City’s government reflective of the attitudes and beliefs of its residents.


    The city of Dodge City is seeking applications from residents of Dodge City to fill expiring/vacant terms on the city-appointed boards and commissions.  The boards and commissions serve to make Dodge City’s government reflective of the attitudes and beliefs of its residents.
    Applications for the following boards/commissions will be accepted until noon Monday: Housing Authority Board, Library Board, Airport Advisory Board, Recycling Advisory Board, Dodge City Zoning Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, Building Board of Appeals, Historic Landmark Commission, Shade Tree Commission, Park & Recreation Advisory Board, St. Mary of the Plains Advisory Committee and Golf Advisory Board.
    Applications for the Convention & Visitors Bureau will be accepted to fill positions in the hospitality and at large categories.
    Applications are available at City Hall, 806 N. Second Ave., or by calling 225-8100.  Information about the boards and commissions as well as an online application can be viewed at http://www.dodgecity.org/index.aspx?nid=82.
