At 12-years-old Adriane (Hall) Csikos began singing for the Boot Hill variety show.

Singing and dancing had always been a passion of hers and went as far to perform during the Dodge City Days Chuckwagon BBQ as well as be a part of the can-can dancing with Miss Kitty.

After graduating in 1996 from Dodge City High School, Csikos wanted to take that passion to the next level.

"I first went to Oklahoma City University for a year as a music theater major," Csikos said. "From there I ended up at KU (University of Kansas) as a dance major all while also working at Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City as a singer and dancer."

Csikos recently retired after 11 years from Carnival Cruises where she performed her own stage show.

"I needed to get my land legs back," Csikos said. "Once I retired from the cruise line I went to Las Vegas and submitted a live audition to a Midwest website and ended getting my next gig."

That gig is being one of the featured performers at the Branson, Missouri, Christmas Wonderland theatre show at the Kings Castle Theatre.

The show will run from October 31 through December 20 and contains popular Christmas songs and dances as well as songs from Faith Hill, Mariah Carey and Idina Menzel performed by the cast.

"The show features a cast of 14 dancers, four singers and hopefully an appearance by a few special guests including Santa," Csikos said. "I myself will be coming out as the Ice Queen and performing ‘Let It Go.’"

Despite the show being in Branson, returning to the Midwest is still a homecoming for Csikos.

"I am a small-town Kansas girl," she said. "One that was told that I could never be a singer, that it was not a serious career.

"But somehow I was lucky enough to hook up with a man from L.A. (Los Angeles, California) that changed the course of my life.

"My vocal coach, Seth Riggs, has trained all the big names in the business, and he decided to give me a spot in his busy schedule.

"With his training and my parents love and support, I have lived my dream and continue to.

"I have traveled the world (35 countries) with Carnival Cruise Lines and performed in huge production shows.

"I have lived in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas and have now returned to my roots in the Midwest.

"I am very excited and very fortunate to have landed this role."
