The 2nd annual Dodge City Dolls Pageant is returning to United Wireless Arena on June 23.

Registration is underway with a few changes to this years pageant.

"The age limit will be from 0-10," organizer Kiesha Carmona said. "So far we have 15 girls signed up and we would like to see 30."

This years pageant will also be a fundraiser for the Dodge City Zoo in Wright Park.

Vendors and photographers will also be on hand with the theme being American Beauty.

"I will have room for 20 vendors and I have filled six spots," Carmona said. The talent show (is optional for each mom and daughter to decide) and all of our sponsors are new.

"They include Dulcelandia, Quick Bail Bonds, Lewis Toyota, Black Mountain Photography, Diamond Limo Service, Fresh Start Cleaning And Coordinating Services, Paisley And Pearls, YMCA, and we would like to have eight more sponsors.

"Sponsoring can be gift certificates, cash for the cash prizes, and any gifts relevant to their company or any gifts they are willing to donate."

This week only, there will be a drawing for a free entry for all ages of the pageant.

According to Carmona, there will be three grand titles and five add on titles available to be won.

The Dodge City Dolls Pageant is not affiliated with any other pageants and no experience is necessary to compete.
