Pablo Villa-Juarez, 24, was arrested at his home in Dodge City over the weekend and is facing several felony charges.

According to Assistant Ford County Attorney Kathleen Neff, Villa-Jaurez has been charged with rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated kidnapping.

"Each charge is a severity level 1 person felony," Neff said. "Each carries a possible sentence of 147 months up to 653 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections, depending on criminal history, and no more than a $300,000 fine."

Neff also said Villa-Juarez was charged with aggravated sexual battery which is a severity level 5 person felony and aggravated intimidation of a witness which is a level 6 person felony.

The penalties for aggravated sexual battery are, "a possible sentence of 31 months up to 136 months in the KDOC, and no more than a $300,000 fine," Neff said. "The penalties for aggravated intimidation of a witness are a possible sentence of 17 months up to 46 months in the KDOC, and no more than a $100,00 fine."

Neff indicated the investigation is still on-going at this time.
