It is the Final Friday of June this week and downtown Dodge City will be filled with plenty to do, with activities kicking off at the Dodge City Public Library.

From 4 to 6 p.m., DCPL will be holding a Banner Hunt.

"In cooperation with Independence Public Library, Dodge City Public Library is proud to present: Minorities in STEM," said event organizer and DCPL technical services assistant Eve Wayman. "This banner display features scientists, mathematicians, and explorers with NASA.

"We will also offer a Banner Hunt where participants will find specific information from the various banners."

The banner hunt will take place in the the Lois Flanagan room and refreshments will be provided.

From 5 to 7 p.m., Scott and Joni Reiter from Dodge City will be the featured artists at Carnegie Center for the Arts.

The art will feature the couple's professional landscapes and macros photography along with handmade quilts.

Wine, beer and other refreshments will be served.

Also from 5 to 7 p.m. at Eryn's Downtown Center, Flowers By Irene will have summer snacks to go along with a lemon-raspberry sorbet Prosecco wine float.

Several activities will run from 6 to 8 p.m., 2nd Ave. Art Guild will feature the work of Dave Wetmore with Paisley & Pearls having a tiki party that will feature a summer cocktail.

Then at Red Beard Coffee, will have its Pirate Punch Card holders to cash in their filled cards for two drinks and Home of Stone joins this month's activities with Margarita Mayhem with other snacks and cocktails available.

From 7 to 9 p.m., the Depot Theater will be featuring the live music of Jim Johnson while Dodge City Brewing will be featuring live music from John and Connie Chavez.

Boot Hill Distillery will be hosting Auto's and Art for Alzheimer's, a silent art auction, car show and live music all rolled into one, running from 6 to 10 p.m.

Cocktails will be available and the music of Josh Bunker.

According to distillery marketing director Mark Vierthaler, $2 from each specialty cocktail will go towards Dodge City Walk to End Alzheimer's. The auction will run from 6 to 9 p.m. with the music playing from 7 to 10 p.m.

Then from 9 to 11 p.m., food specials and live music will be held at Guymon Petro Bar and Grill.
