A computer skills training course is being offered by the Women of Inspiration Fund of the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas, as one of the projects to accomplish the goals of the fund to encourage, enlighten and enrich lives of women in southwest Kansas.
The five-week Computer Skills Training Course is being taught by qualified computer instructors from the Dodge City Community College and will be taught in the computer classroom at the college.
The courses will be on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning Oct. 11 and ending Nov. 8.
Based on inquiries from women, the computer skills training courses will be offered for basic level, as well as advanced level.
The courses are provided at no cost to women enrolling in the course.
All materials are provided, including computers.
To participate in this opportunity to learn or improve your computer skills, simply complete an application/enrollment form provided at the community foundation office, 208 W. Wyatt Earp Blvd. Suite 200, or call 620-225-0959.
Application/enrollment forms will also be located at Dodge City Public Library, city of Dodge City, Dodge Area Chamber of Commerce, Compass Behavioral Health, Crisis Center of Dodge City, Catholic Social Center and Victory Electric Cooperative.
The application/enrollment form must be submitted to the community foundation office by Sept. 28.
