The Wine and Cheese fundraiser for the Dodge City Public Library hosted by the Dodge City Library Foundation in late October was a success with over $5,100 raised to go toward library programs and projects.

sid Kathleen Jones, board president of the Dodge City Library Foundation. "Thanks to everyone for your continued support of our library."

Diedre Lemon, executive director for the Dodge City Public Library, added, "We had a wonderful turn out for our Wine and Cheese event. Thank you to Stan Herd, our originally-intended presenter, for his call to the people of Dodge City.

"I am also grateful to all of our sponsors and Dave Webb from the Kansas Heritage Center for helping to make the event a success. I cannot wait for next year’s Wine and Cheese."

Financial sponsors included Victory Electric, Fidelity State Bank, Esther Abbey, Martin Miller, John and Melaney Vogel, James and Tracy Nusser, James and Gentra Sorem, Deborah Eddy, Steve and Pamela Preston, Kathie Leighty, Georgia and Richard Burke, Bill and Lana Maskus and Daniel and Beth Love.
