This Sunday, the Manna House in Dodge City are inviting the public to attend an open house from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Located at 1012 1st Avenue, the Manna House in Dodge City has been assisting families and individuals in need since 1993.

"We want to invite the public over so we can say thank you," Manna House director Steve Tabor said. "We have made some upgrades inside the house and would like to show that off as well."

Along with shelter, the Manna House provides food assistance that has been donated from local churches, organizations and individuals.

Tabor took over as director in 2014 and has since renovated the inside of the home and recently the outside.

"We also want to thank everyone for their monetary and food donations," Tabor said. "We want to show everyone what their donations have gone towards."

The Manna House is a member of the United Way and is a volunteer-based organization.

If you want to make a monetary donation, they can be mailed directly to the Manna House at 1012 1st Avenue in Dodge City or can be donated in-person.

Food donations can also be made in-person.
