Numana Meals is looking for hunger heroes for Dodge City food banks.

Some of the food needed are rice, soy protein, pinto beans and vegetables.

Share the Bounty and Numana have supplied nearly 30,000 meals to the Salvation Army, Manna House, Genesis and Friendship Feast for the past seven years.

Pantries for the entities involved are void of Numana food and the need for more is high.

Numana is asking the community to make food donations in the lead up to the meal packing event scheduled for April 27 at the Dodge City Civic Center.

A committee of concerned citizens, Share the Bounty hold open meetings on the first Monday of each month at the Dodge City Senior Center at 7 p.m.
