This February ground was broken at the corner of Soule Street and 14th Avenue to begin construction of the 6,300 square foot United Plaza in Dodge City.
Located just under the big tower, United Plaza is projected to be completed in July by local contractor, Ric Marboeuf of M.R. Builder, who will also utilize one of the spaces.
"United has been providing communication services in southwest Kansas for over 65 years, and we are genuinely invested in the success of our communities," said United’s General Manager and CEO, Todd Houseman. "This build will bring essential retail space for local businesses and new services for our community.

United Plaza, located at 2120 N. 14th Avenue, will serve as a retail location for both United Wireless and Scooter’s Coffee. Additional spaces of 1,250 or 2,000-square feet are available.
They are unfinished and can be built to the needs of the business that uses them. All tenants of United Plaza will be connected to United’s ultra fast fiber optic internet service that is also available in many areas of Dodge City as well as other key locations throughout southwest Kansas.

A second phase of construction is planned that will provide an additional 4,000-square foot office and retail space within the United Plaza Development.
