This weekend will be graduation weekend for Butler County, making it time to celebrate the class of 2019.

Three highlights               

                   

1. Opportunity

                   

In Butler County, there will be seven high school graduations in two days, starting with Flint Hills of Rosalia Saturday and ending with El Dorado High School on Sunday.

The schedule is as follows, with graduations at each school unless otherwise noted.

               

May 18

3 p.m. — Flint Hills (Rosalia) USD 492 High School Graduation

May 19

1:30 p.m. — Andover USD 385 High School Graduation, Century II, Wichita.

1:30 p.m. — Circle (Towanda) High School Graduation

2 p.m. — Augusta High School Graduation

2 p.m. — Bluestem (Leon) High School Graduation

2 p.m. — Douglass High School Graduation

2:30 p.m. — Rose Hill High School Graduation

3 p.m. — El Dorado High School Graduation

                   

2. Last chance

                   

Seniors will be part of the musical performances and give speeches during the annual event, the last opportunity for the community to see and hear them as students in high school.

                   

3. College grads too

                   

Butler County Community College Commencement will be  at 7 p.m. May 17 at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex located on Haverhill Road just north of the El Dorado Campus. Plan to arrive at the stadium no later than 6:30 p.m..
