Landmark National Bank has announced Tara Burkhart has joined the staff as a commercial banker for the Central Avenue and Spruce Street branch.

Burkhart was previously president of the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce.

"We are really excited about the banking teams we are building in our Dodge City and western Kansas markets," said Landmark senior vice president Michael Burns. "Tara will be a critical member of our team focused on enhancing and developing relationships with business owners that desire trust and confidence in their banking relationship.

"She is a perfect fit for our organization and our clients as we work to solve client needs now — and well into the future."

A graduate of Kansas State University, Burkhart served as a district manager for grocery retailer ALDI for six years, living in three different states and managing over 100 employees.

She became a sales district leader for PepsiCo Inc. in 2016 after moving to Dodge City.

"I am excited to be a part of the Landmark National Bank team and look forward to building relationships with our current and prospective customers," said Burkhart. "Landmark’s vision of everyone starts as a customer and leaves as a friend is a culture that I can’t wait to be part of."

Landmark National Bank is a community banking organization dedicated to providing quality financial and banking services with its headquarters in Manhattan and has 29 locations in 23 Kansas communities.
