As the Dodge City Days festival comes to a conclusion, there is still plenty to take part in.

The Landmark National Bank Art Show featuring the work of former Dodge City Marshal Allen Bailey will have art on display from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Western State Bank Expo Center will be the home for the Dodge City Days Patriot Qualifier, a national qualifier for team roping.

The qualifier will run through Sunday with participants competing for the Patriot Finale in Fort Worth, Texas.

The annual Dodge City Days Arts, Crafts and Things show is from 3 to 8 p.m. at Village Square Mall and will run through the weekend.

Starting at 2 p.m., the Miss Rodeo Kansas and Teen competition continues at Boot Hill Casino and Resort Conference Center.

Friday's event will be the speech competition as the women deliver an opening statement followed by a question and answer session.

The Cargill Barbecue will be held at Dodge City Roundup Arena starting at 6 p.m.

Cost for the barbecue will be a rodeo ticket and $3 with proceeds donated to Dodge City Roundup Rodeo for the Little Britches Rodeo.

The Depot Theater youth production of Law and Order: C-Rhyme and Pun-ishment has its second showing at 7:30 p.m. at the Depot Theater, 101 E. Wyatt Earp Blvd.

Adults Tickets (ages 19 & up) are $15. Student Tickets (ages 12 through 18) are $10. Children Tickets (ages 11 and under) are $5. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

American Pride Night comes to the Dodge City Days PRCA Roundup Rodeo at 7:45 p.m.

The Friday night rodeo will be a salute to the men and women of our armed forces, and those attending are encouraged to wear red, white and blue.

At 9:30 p.m., The Doctor's Office mechanical bull riding at 113 Gunsmoke Street returns for the weekend. Riders must be 21 years of age or older.

Also starting at 9:30 p.m., Central Station Bar and Grill will welcome the sound of country music artist Rodney Atkins with special guest Clare Dunn. For ticket information, call 620-225-1176.

There will be a free shuttle available from the roundup arena rodeo grounds to Central Station Bar and Grill.
