Musician and comedian Rodney Carrington will be making his third appearance in Dodge City on Thursday, Sept. 19, at United Wireless Arena.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at UWA box office or ticketmaster.com and are available for all ages.

According to his bio, Carrington is a multi-talented comedian, actor and writer who has recorded eight major record label comedy albums selling over 3 million copies.

His album "Morning Wood" went certified gold in 2000 and his "Greatest Hits" was certified platinum by the RIAA in 2004.

Carrington also starred in his own TV sitcom, "Rodney," which ran for two seasons on ABC.

He also co-starred in the film "Beer for My Horses" with country music star Toby Keith, a film that Carrington and Keith co-wrote and released in 2008.

In 2011, Carrington presented at the American Country Awards and hosted the American Country New Year's Eve Live show on Fox.

This year also marked the first time Carrington performed in Dodge City.

According to Pollstar, Carrington has been one of the top 10 highest-grossing touring comedians for the last 10 years and among the top four or five the last several years, putting him on on track to be in the top five again in 2019.

This show is for all ages and begins at 8 p.m. Sept. 19, with doors opening at 7 p.m. at UWA. Tickets are $55.75 and $50.75.
