As students, teachers and parents get back into the swing of a new school year, Carnegie Center for the Arts wants everyone to have a little fun.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, the Carnegie will hold a carnival fundraiser.
"Right now we are needing volunteers to help with our carnival," Carnegie director Bobbi Brown said. "We need people who can help with games and giving out prizes."
During the carnival there will be crafts, carnival games and plenty of treats available for attendees.
Cost for the carnival will be wristbands of $15 for one child, $25 for two children, $33 for three children or $40 for four children.
Anyone interested in volunteering or donating a cake, cookies or candy for the bake sale may contact Brown at 620-225-6388 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
"We are excited to offer an event for our children in our community and local areas," Brown said. "Volunteers are needed and appreciated."
