Riddle’s Jewelry invites the public to celebrate its sixth decade in business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Ten $60 gift cards will be awarded to customers who enter a drawing at the event.

Diamond merchandise is on sale for 40% off its original price all this month.

The store offers timeless, modern and vintage bridal from brands like Valina and 2BELoved, as well as watches and men’s accessories, such as pocket knives and money clips. A 90-facet signature cut Noventa diamond is a hallmark of the company.

What sets the Dodge City store location apart is its wide selection of gemstones, Manager Adrian Dillard said.

Riddle’s Jewelry has been at its current location in the Village Square Mall, 2601 Central Ave., since it first opened in Dodge City in 2009 and offers customization capabilities in-house.

It now boasts 65 store locations across the Midwest region.

Founder Jess Riddle opened the Midwest-exclusive jewelry store in 1959. He was wont to say, "we are in the love business."

President J. Brett Riddle took over as CEO when his father stepped down.

"It’s nice to be a part of something with such a long legacy that is still family-owned," Dillard said.

The ribbon-cutting event was organized in part by the Dodge City Chamber of Commerce and is intended to help establish the business as a part of the community Dodge City, Dillard said.
