The Dodge City Board of Realtors’ 4th annual rummage and bake sale will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the National Guard Armory, 2120 First Ave.

Every penny of proceeds will be donated to the Circle of Hope Cancer Support Group, a non-profit corporation devoted to supporting southwest Kansas cancer patients and their families.

Its mission is to enable cancer patients to seek the best treatment available so to give them the opportunity to survive the disease.

The southwest Kansas counties located within in the Circle of Hope reach are Clark, Comanche, Edwards, Ford, Finney, Grant, Gray, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Kiowa, Meade, Ness, Seward and Stevens.

The people of southwest Kansas donated every item for the sale, said board event coordinator Vicki Smith.

Past sales raised $6,000 each year, but this year, the realtors have raised the bar and hope to sell $8,000 worth of goods, she said.

Sale items will include, but are not limited to, clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys, furniture and household appliances.

Donations can also be made directly to the Circle of Hope.

Make checks payable to The Circle Of Hope and mail them to the Dodge City Board of Realtors c/o Circle of Hope Donations 2300 First Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.
