The Ford County Sheriff's Office released information regarding the arrest of 13 individuals arrested in conjunction with a narcotics investigation.

According to Ford County Sheriff Bill Carr, on Halloween, Oct. 31, members of the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, Kansas Highway Patrol, Dodge City Police Department and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism arrested 13 individuals within Ford County on outstanding warrants.

Among the 13, nine of those arrested were on drug-related charges and four others on unrelated warrants, with more arrests expected in the near future.

"Of the nine arrested on drug-related warrants, the warrants were for distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine or distribution of fentanyl," Carr said. "Our law enforcement partners continue to work together in an attempt to rid our communities of these dangerous substances to make our communities a better place to live."
