MONTEZUMA — The new year was met with a promotion for Mike Miller, who was named president of the Montezuma and Copeland Bank7 branches recently.

According to Bank7 regional president Doug Haines, Miller had previously been senior vice president of the two bank branches.

“Mike’s agricultural lending expertise, combined with his strong community leadership greatly benefits our Kansas customer base," Haines said in a news release. "Internally, Mike is recognized as a valuable asset of our diversified management team and we congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion.”

Based on Oklahoma, Bank7 has nine locations in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and is consistently listed as a top-performing community bank in the country under assets of $1 billion with $863 million in assets.

Miller is a graduate of Fort Hayes State University with a degree in business and marketing who began his banking career in 1996.
