Today, in Lincoln Nebraska, in the midst of a pandemic of a sometimes-fatal lung disease, we are also under a air-quality advisory.

The foul smoke produced by Kansas' stone-age practice of burning the Flint Hills will shroud us all, making our throats burn, and exacerbating the symptoms of those of us unfortunate enough to have contracted COVID-19.

Is this the behavior of a good neighbor? Of any sort of neighbor? Please stop.
