Kansans, it is no exaggeration to say our nation is teetering on the edge of a socialist takeover.

I left the race for U.S. Senate after unexpectedly losing my daughter, a physician and young parent, to cancer. I knew our conservative principles were in good hands with Dr. Roger Marshall.

I have also served as Senate President in the Legislature with Barbara Bollier. I know first-hand how diametrically opposed she is to our Kansas values.

I have seen her vote in favor of late term abortions and cast the ONLY vote denying a birth certificate to the parents of a stillborn child. Yes, she is a liberal extremist.

She’s in favor of a government health care system to extend Obamacare, which has already pushed health care costs through the roof and brought more bureaucracy to the system. We’ve seen those failures with the VA — long lines, capped services and the run around and red tape from bureaucrats; all while our condition worsens.

Dr. Marshall knows health care and knows how to make sensible reforms that lower costs and bureaucracy. Kansans need more choice not less.

As a former candidate, I watched the D.C. Democrats spend $5 million trying to stop Dr. Marshall in the primary. Now, they’re trying to trick you and market Barbara as a Midwest moderate, ignoring her extremist votes.

Don’t fall for it. Barbara is a liberal.

I know Dr. Marshall. I competed against him; I debated him; and I trust him. Dr. Marshall has earned our votes.
