Listening to the likes of Dave Trabert and the Kansas Policy Institute for direction concerning the correct response to COVID-19 is precisely why tens of thousands of American lives have needlessly been lost.

If he wishes to provide guidance to our leaders on tax policy well and good, but please let the health care professionals do what they have spent their lives doing. If Dr. Norman were to lecture our legislators on tax policy, I am sure Mr. Trabert would suggest he stay in his lane. The same advice would serve Mr. Trabert just as well.

It can be more important to know what you don't know than what you do.
