Here is your morning sports update for Monday, May 21, 2018.

The 6A State Golf Tournament starts this morning at Ironhorse Golf Course in Leawood, Kansas.

The Dodge City Red Demons boys golf team is competing in it after finishing second at the regional last week (which you can read about here).

Pairings are listed on the Kansas State High School Activities Association website, but here are when the Red Demons are teeing off.

Keep in mind these are when they are scheduled to start. They might start a little sooner or (more likely) a little later depending on the pace of play of groups in front of them and other unpredictable factors.

- Kale Lowery is in group one and tees off at hole one at 8:30 a.m.

He is paired with William Brock of Olathe Northwest, John Dierks of Shawnee Mission East and Gabe Reckrodt of Olathe South.

- Cayden Kerr is in group three and tees off at hole one at 8:40 a.m.

He is paired with Maxwell Maday of Shawnee Mission East, Gabriel McKeown of Olathe Northwest and Christopher Meyer of Olathe South.

- Tryston Lomas is in group five and tees off at hole one at 8:50 a.m.

He is paired with Cole Ferris of Olathe Northwest, Owen Hill of Shawnee Mission East and Ben Norman of Olathe South.

- Ethan Goertzen is in group seven and tees off at hole one at 9 a.m.

He is Thomas Luger of Shawnee Mission East, Ben Marsh of Olathe South and Zachary Molzer of Olathe Northwest.

- Davan Smith is in group nine and tees off at hole one at 9:10 a.m.

He is paired with William Harding of Shawnee Mission East, Carter Runyan of Olathe South and Jackson Wexler of Olathe Northwest.

- Luke Gleason is in group 11 and tees off at hole one at 9:20 a.m.

He is paired with William Franklin of Olathe Northwest, Jackson Likes of Olathe South and Andrew Scholz of Shawnee Mission East.

Those are all the Red Demons and their pairings today.

We’ll update this story as soon as possible once final scores become available, and have a writeup of some kind in Tuesday morning’s Dodge City Daily Globe newspaper.

Also in Tuesday's paper and online later Monday, look for a writeup on how the Red Demons girls swimmers did at the State Swim Meet. Lea Weckerle, Payton Magouirk, Hayden Sanchez, Abby Harding and Harlie Wainscott all represented the Red Demons at the meet, which took place Thursday through Saturday.
