The Dodge City A’s fell were down 4-0 by the time they took their first at-bats Friday night, but used a two-run bottom of the first, a one-run third and a three-run sixth to beat the Haysville Aviators in a game stopped after the top of the seventh due to a weather delay.
The A’s won by a score of 6-5. They’re scheduled to take on the Aviators again Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Cavalier Field.
Dodge City’s Dayton Cook had two hits, two runs and one RBI. Adam Hollar had one run, two hits and one RBI, while Carlos Arrellano had one run, one hit and one RBI. Kyle Cullen had a run and a hit, Jordan Vujovich had a hit, and Dylan Johnson and Owen Jansen each had a hit and an RBI.
