The K-State Women's soccer team continued its strong start with a 1-0 win over the Drake Bulldogs Thursday night.

Wildcat junior forward Katie Cramer scored the game's lone goal on a free kick from 25 yards outside the Drake net in the 55th minute. It was her second of the season and fourth of the year.

Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Emma Malsy recorded her third consecutive shutout. She now has 270 consecutive shutout minutes, according to K-State Athletics.

Kansas State will begin its 2018 road schedule next week, as the Wildcats travel to northern California to face (12) Santa Clara on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 9:30 p.m. central time, and San Jose State on Sunday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. central time.
