A number of different area volleyball teams were in action Tuesday night. See our recap online covering Dodge City’s quad with Spearville, Kiowa County and Great Bend.

The Bucklin Red Aces hosted a quad Tuesday. They beat Rolla 25-3, 25-18 and Kinsley 25-19 and 25-23. They also beat Ashland by scores 25-15, 24-26 and 25-20.
The Cimarron Bluejays competed in a quad in Lakin, going 2-1. They won 27-29, 25-23, 25-17 against Hugoton, and 26-28, 25-12, 25-22 against Elkhart before losing to Lakin by scores 17-25, 21-25.
They are next in action Sept. 13 when they play a make-up game against Ingalls.
The Minneola Wildcats went 2-1 in their home quad. They beat Hodgeman County in three sets by scores 25-11, 21-25 and 25-21. They lost to South Central in straight sets by scores 17-25, 11-25 but then beat Ingalls 25-20, 25-19.
The Pawnee Heights Tigers played in a quad in Fowler Tuesday night. They finished 3-0 in the event, beating Moscow 25-14, 25-4, South Gray 25-20, 25-18 and Fowler 25-19, 25-6.
The South Central Timberwolves remained undefeated, moving to 11-0 this season after winning all three they played in the Minneola quad. They beat Ingalls by scores 25-15, 25-11, and Hodgeman County by scores 25-10, 25-17, and lastly beat Minneola by scores 25-17, 25-11.
The Kinsley Coyotes played at the Bucklin quad and went 2-1. They lost to Bucklin by scores of 19-25, 23-25, but beat Ashland 25-11, 25-19 and Rolla 25-17, 25-13.
