The Dodge City Red Demons track and field team competed last Thursday at a meet at Buhler High School.

The Red Demons finished first as a team in the boys events, and second in the girls events, behind Hutchinson.

The team is next in action Friday when they head to Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson for a meet. It’s scheduled to start at 3 p.m., according to the Western Athletic Conference website.

The Red Demons host the WAC Meet May 9 in Memorial Stadium.
