Starting on Saturday, Nov. 20 and running through Friday, Dec. 24, The Salvation Army in Dodge City will be starting its Kettle Kickoff campaign.

According to The Salvation Army, bell ringers will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. accepting donations.

The Salvation Army provides emergency food, rent, utilities, clothing, medication and household goods assistance as part of its evangelical mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination locally.

The goal of the campaign for this year is to raise $120,000 to help those in need, according to Salvation Army Captain Roberto Davila.

“We need everyone’s help to help our community this year, let us all be part of this blessed task,” said Davila.

For more information on the services The Salvation Army provides or if interested in being a bell ringer, contact Davila at 620-225-1625 or email to Roberto.Davila@usc.salvationarmy.org.
