Kansas officials have issued an Amber Alert for 6-year-old girl Nina R. Senkbeil. She is about 4 feet tall and 75 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Kansas law enforcement have arrested a father and found his daughter after issuing an Amber Alert for 6-year-old Nina R. Senkbeil.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation reported that Nina was taken by her father, 32-year-old Jacob Senkbeil. The initial report from Chanute police said the girl and her dad disappeared during a supervised visitation at Santa Fe Park at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators announced on Twitter at 4:50 p.m. that local law enforcement found the child safe at a home in Fall River and took the suspect into custody.

Nina and Jacob Senkbeil had been seen in Fall River at around 12:15 p.m., when the dad "made comments to a witness that makes Law Enforcement now believe the child is in imminent danger." Police said the suspect left in an unknown direction driving a black 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Kansas license plate 852FGX.

People are asked to call 911 or the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME when they have information on a missing child.
